This course is suitable for people who have Python programming skills including understanding how to use and manipulate numerical data, strings, Booleans and mutable sequences lists. 

To get the full benefit from this course you will need to be comfortable with the following skills: 

- complete the Set Up Python course https://swamphen.co.uk/set-up-python   

- how to write a good variable name

- be comfortable with using and manipulating numerical data types

- know how to define a string, index into it, add strings and alter strings and what can go in it

- understand what a Boolean is and how to do Boolean comparisons

- how to set up, slice, order, add, append and alter mutable sequences lists

- how to create and use lists of lists
